Danie a suivi un cursus à l’Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Bourges : spécialité Céramique, dans l’atelier de Jean et Jacqueline Lerat où elle s’est initiée à la cuisson grand feu. Actuellement son travail associe métal et terre, créant une confusion de matières (métal patiné par le temps, des terres chamottées engobées) donnant naissance à des personnages et objets évoquant des continents lointains. Son travail est présenté en galeries et salons.

Danie Christidès studied in Bourges at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts. She specialised in ceramics, in the studio of Jean and Jacqueline Lerat where she learned the techniques of high temperature firing. Her present work incorporates metal and clay, creating an intricacy of materials (metals weathered by time, grog, slips) as well as giving birth to figures and objects that evoke distant lands. Her work is displayed in art galleries and salons.
