At the age of 47, Capredon has spent a good 17 years of his professional life practising the restoration of sculpture. It has been an excellent way to remain in contact with the marvellous variety of materials and colours. However, one day it became evident that his work was also masking a deep and long-standing desire to create. He turned to Mosaic, a medium that has given structure and light to the ideas he has been forming over many years : it has been a real initiation.
